Frequently Asked Questions – Answered!

Q : Do you take reservations?

A : It depends on the day of the week and the number of people in your party. All reservations must be made by midnight the day before.
We take reservations for any size party Monday through Thursday (and Friday at our Chapter II location only). For weekends, we only take reservations for parties larger than 6, with a prefixe menu.

For weekday reservations, hover over the location you’d like to visit and click the link that matches your party.

Q : I don’t have six people but want to come in on the weekend. What should I do?

A : Come on in! We take a small number of reservations each day to allow as much space for walk-in parties as we can. Our average wait is generally 30 – 45 minutes on weekends during our peak times [ 11:00 am – 4:00 pm ], so if you’re able to drop by a bit before you want to be seated, you may be able to get a table right when you want it. Also! While we are running a wait, we take your cell phone number and text you when the table is ready. That way you can adventure NYC while you wait!

Q : Are you hiring?

A : We are always accepting resumes! Email them to Employment@AlicesTeaCup.com and someone from our team will be in touch if we have anything that we think is a good match for you. Please, no calls to the restaurant.

Q : Do you have gluten free options?

A : Yes! We have various salads, brunch items and desserts that are gluten free or can be modified to be gluten free. We unfortunately do not have gluten free pastries or bread, however. Also, as a bakery / kitchen, we cannot guarantee 100% of our products are not at risk of common cross-contamination. Any guest with a life-threatening condition is invited to bring their own food (with prior written notice) if we cannot properly cater to you!

Q : Do you have vegan options?

A : Yes! We have a vegan scone of the day and a vegan soup of the day, everyday, plus several vegan sandwiches and salads on our menu. All vegan items are marked on the menu for easy choosing!
